  • Heat water to 175-195°F or 80-90°C.

    Sift 3g or 1tsps of matcha per 2-6oz of water.

    Whisk until smooth and frothy.

  • Gokou is a revered cultivar native to the Kyoto prefecture. Traditionally it has been associated with nobility and selected for tea ceremonies as the highest grade of ceremonial matcha due to its well balanced deep umami flavor and light sweetness.
